The Ego Trap of Spiritual Hierarchy

On the spiritual path, there’s a subtle trap that many don’t see coming.

It doesn’t look like ego at first.

It can look like wisdom.
Like confidence.
Like “awakening.”

A quiet shift into spiritual superiority.

And the moment someone begins to believe they are above others on this path, something important has been missed.

Because what they believe they’ve transcended…

Has simply taken a new form.

When the Ego Becomes “Spiritual”

The ego doesn’t disappear just because someone becomes more aware.

It evolves.

Instead of attaching to status, success, or identity in the external world… it can begin to attach to:

  • being “more awakened”

  • being “more conscious”

  • being “further along”

And this is where distortion begins.

Because true growth doesn’t elevate you above others.

It softens you.

It grounds you.

It humbles you in a way that feels real and undeniable.

What Real Spiritual Growth Actually Feels Like

The deeper you go on this path, the more something shifts internally.
